Savory Bread Pudding
4 Cups Cubed Whole Wheat Challah
8 ounces Grated Aged Gouda
4 Eggs and mix with
2 cups Milk or Half&half then add
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Thyme:
butter or grease 8" cast iron skillet:
line & layer bread cubes w cheese
pour 'eggs thyme salt milk mix' on top
preheat oven to 350 degrees
bake for 20 min 'till crust s golden ..
serve w tomato salad

@ Crack of Dawn
simple &fun ..freshly made crackers:
3 cups flour
3 tbsp olive oil
1teasp salt ..(herbs&spices)
1egg
2/3 cup water
knead dry ingredients,
w olive oil &water divide in
two balls: let rest , while
preheating oven to 400 degrees
roll dough out as thin as possible !!
brush w olive oil sprinkle w salt
&
watch carefully while baking 15/20 minutes:
ready to be 'cracked up'
